Claudia Porter
About the Director
Claudia Porter is a seasoned music and ministry leader with a profound passion for teaching children, youth, and young adults the art of singing and worship. With over 50 years of experience in Christian ministry and education, Claudia began her journey in music worship ministry at the age of 18, and has since dedicated her life to nurturing the next generation of "Musicianaries."
Claudia's educational background includes a BA in Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Arizona, a lifetime teacher’s certificate from the University of Missouri in Allied Arts for grades 7-12, graduate studies in music education and guitar, and a Doctorate in Divinity from Promise Christian University in Covina, California.
Throughout her career, Claudia has held leadership roles in various Christian ministries, focusing on church planting, missions, worship, and youth. She is also a published author, having contributed to "Chicken Soup for the Christian Soul" and released her own book titled “How to Live UP by the Power of EnCOURAGEment.”
Claudia has written several Christian musicals, recorded her own album "Lord and Lady," and founded ministries such as Torchgrab Africa and Choirfire. She co-hosts a weekly podcast called Wit and Wisdom with Bonnie and Claudia on YouTube and Facebook. Claudia and her husband Bruce Porter pastor Torch Life house church in Littleton, Colorado.
Passionate about spreading the message of Christ through the arts, Claudia is a mentor to many through her teachings and example. She is a proud mother of three married children and a grandmother to seven, all who share a passion for missions, music, and using the arts to share the love of Christ.

Carli Hatch
Carli, a lifelong musician, started singing in choirs and playing brass instruments as a child. Currently pursuing a degree in music education at Colorado Christian University, she actively participates in the advanced choirs, orchestra, and band. Carli is passionate about teaching and helping students develop their musical talents.

Kimberly Probst
Raised in a home that valued both intellect and artistry, Kimberly Probst, the daughter of a professor and a professional dancer, developed a love for music and education early on. Fluent in French, thanks to her time in France, Kimberly mastered the flute and became a virtuoso performer. Her performances span from the lively streets of Paris to global tours with Choirfire. Armed with a Master’s Degree in Education and experience running a homeschool program, Kimberly is passionate about education and teaching flute to students of all levels.

Kevin Jones
Kevin Jones has been a teacher for 18 years. He is a certified elementary school teacher and loves approaching music with a simplified non-traditional idea. His classes include lots of playing songs together and giving students the option to pick songs they like. Kevin knows that music is a gift from God and it has changed so many lives. Kevin is the owner of Jam to the Beat Music school.
